Exotic Jerky at the Fishing and Sportsman Shows: Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Jersey
January through March the table is on the road: two Fly Fishing Shows, the Springfield Sportsmen's Show and the Rhode Island Saltwater Fishing Expo. Fishermen buy jerky by the bag for the boat, and the exotics travel home across three states.
- Jan 15–17: Fly Fishing Show, Marlborough MA
- Jan 22–24: Fly Fishing Show, Edison NJ
- Feb 19–21: Springfield Sportsmen's Show
- Mar 5–7: RI Saltwater Fishing Expo
The 2027 show dates
The Fly Fishing Show comes first, Marlborough, Massachusetts on January 15 to 17 and Edison, New Jersey the following weekend, January 22 to 24. The Springfield Sportsmen's Show at the Eastern States Exposition grounds in West Springfield runs February 19 to 21, and the Rhode Island Saltwater Fishing Expo in Providence closes the circuit on March 5 to 7. These dates came from Joe directly; booth locations are posted on the events page as the shows assign them.
What sells at a fishing show
A fishing show crowd buys for the boat and the truck: big bags that reseal and do not need a cooler. The 7 oz Settlers bags and 8 oz Jerky Hut bags list a 1 oz serving, so a bag is a week of mornings on the water, and the jerky for fishing, hunting and camping trips guide turns that into a packing number. The exotics still get photographed first; at a saltwater show the ahi tuna jerky gets the most questions of anything on the table.
Ordering from Massachusetts, Rhode Island or New Jersey
Everything on the table also ships. Online orders ship USPS from Albany, usually within two business days, with free shipping on orders of $100 or more. Within the Northeast most packages arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Jersey are inside that window, and the whole catalog is on the shop page with heat and bag size on every card.
